Mic Check, a talent exposition organized by
Benue based multimedia studio, Johnicks StudioVilla is set for the next big
thing for Benue based entertainers. “We
are interested in identifying and helping in our little way to hype the next
Tuface, D”Banj , 9ice etc“ declared M.C. Johnicks , the project director. So
over the coming three months, the best emerging young artistes from across the
Benue music spectrum will be ‘checking the Mic’.
Participating
in the batch A Mic Check are Trebleclef,
Da Call, Cj Tipsy, Emmegzy, Yommy, Khyed Maleek, Inas, Lilian, Divine, Seakay,
Aidepha Geeblex, Boji Boji, KennWest John, Strippicolo, Lee-Mak, Harrisson
Robinson, KaySix, SammySage, Luga and lots more.
Pre-show
test runs kicked off in November 2013 with Mic Check audio recordings by
Jumabee, Flamspillz, Young Echow, ElSammy, H316, Hybrid, Zouwrah, Ordizo, TY
Yongo and NG. It was off-the-hook and a delight to be hold and ran on
RadioBenue (95.0FM) Monday Extravaganza.
The
sponsors believe that the project will help to project the participating
artistes to acquire more prominence on the international and local
entertainment scene.
The
Rap, Comedy and Singing oriented programme is designed to open new hype
horizons for many young Nigerians who are passionately seeking genuine and
lawful ladders to climb to stardom.
Already,
the show is steaming up…
On
December 8th, 2013, several promising artistes will be squaring it up against
the Microphone and the studio cameras.
