With sorrow and sadness in our hearts I [Kellz, CEO FreshBaze] write on behalf of my family. We give gratitude to God for a life well spent and we know heaven has accepted your soul. We announce the passing on of our dear beloved Mother, Wife, Aunt and sister, a native of otukpo LGA, in Benue State. MRS Kate Abounu.

Our mother was a great and God fearing woman of faith and courage, she fought death till the very end, it is a thing of sadness that you left us at this stage when we needed you the most,but who are we to question God? The world only has positives to say about you and as we weep today, we know they is Joy in heaven. Survived by husband MR: Sam Abounu, children : Ene Abounu, Benson Abounu, Linda Abounu, Inalegwu Abounu, siblings and Relatives.

Wake keep and Burial is scheduled for 5th and 6th of Oct. 2014 .
We sincerely plead with the media and the general public to respect the privacy of the family in this difficult time.
