The Miss Food Basket is a run way contest for all models . It is a night when fashion and entertainment icons come together to celebrate creativity and talent in modeling.
MISS FOOD BASKET is a modeling contest aimed at discovering potential female models between the ages of 18 to 27.
The purpose of the event is finding a winner with specified qualities; beauty, height and brains while having a remarkable knowledge about Nigeria culture.
The winner would become a societal figure among the youths and to help the less privileged.
Contestants would go through an audition and screening two weeks to the event at the various screening centers.
A total number of 15 female contestants would be chosen to contest at the grand finale.
The 15 female contestants would be camped for one week where they would be groomed and coached in their catwalks, sentence structure, pose ,originality, intelligence, dance, cooking abilities and knowledge of the Nigeria culture in series of intense rehearsals.
The contestants would be busy in camp with various activities such as swimming, sight seeing, photo shots, courtesy visits and help distribute gift items to the needy.
The Miss Food Basket event will as always draw a large crowd because the stakes are higher this year!!
Just like the audience was wowed beyond their expectations in the 2014 edition, the 2015 edition will even be bigger and hotter!!
This is indeed the only runway contest with the sole purpose of promoting our culture!!
The show will begin with a Red Carpet event at 6pm. The show proper should start by 8pm till dawn.
The event would be graced by a selected cream of local and national stars, some of which would be judges at the event.
