According to American speaker, Shawn Achor, a person will be more optimistic and find happiness by sticking to five positive and simple tasks each day for 21 days.
Achor says they are:
  1. Adopting a grateful heart
  2. Taking two-minute meditation breaks
  3. Performing short bursts of exercise
  4. Participating in random acts of kindness 
  5. Reliving one positive experience through the art of journaling.
Which means in trying these things you'll be training your brain to only think of positive things for 21 days at a stretch - which is enough time for the human brain to master an act.‎
