According to American speaker, Shawn Achor, a person will be more optimistic and find happiness by sticking to five positive and simple tasks each day for 21 days.
Achor says they are:
- Adopting a grateful heart
- Taking two-minute meditation breaks
- Performing short bursts of exercise
- Participating in random acts of kindness
- Reliving one positive experience through the art of journaling.
Which means in trying these things you'll be training your brain to only think of positive things for 21 days at a stretch - which is enough time for the human brain to master an act.
