Death and Legacy Esther Ogbe died on August 6 2014, at the age of 22 after she was rushed to the hospital in Abuja. In death as in life, Esther Ogbe aka Burner Girl or Estelle as she is fondly called by her league of friends made headlines as soon as the news of her death hit the internet. As a tribute, Agila Carnival coordinator, comrade James Oche in short statement on his social media page "She was a dear friend who meant a great deal to Agila Carnival and to me personally". The cause of death was announced to be injuries sustained from the auto crash she was involved in along Keffi - Nyanya road. She was quickly rushed to the hospital but was unattended to due to the strike embarked upon by public health workers in the country, and for three hours Esther went through excruciating pains before she passed on. Late Esther was a final year student of Benue State University (BSU). A virtuous woman, a team player, a woman of taste, elegance and culture. She was full of ideas for the Idoma nation. An idea that prompted her to join the Agila Carnival dream team. She was a pioneer member of the AGILA SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CARNIVAL held last year 2013 in Benue state. Friends from all over the country have continued to pay tribute to this great African woman. With love we pray for the repose your Esther. We love you but GOD loves you more.
